my thoughts on a real biz [after a mastermind with a teammate]

I was just master-minding with one of my top
leaders from one of my businesses. During
our conversation she ask, "Eric, what else are
you up to, what are you doin these days?"
I replied "Growing my biz and marketing my rear
off", she was curious, she said, "I noticed you're
not really building our business anymore, do you
have an interest in giving it another push?"
Of course, I have an interest but I've let her know that
"I've been a bit disappointed in the MLM industry as
a whole". Why? The numbers don't add up. In a typical
low entry level opportunity, your commissions are broken
up and paid out through different levels leaving you with
a nominal commission.
The problem?
That leaves you with very little money to market/advertise
your business and being able to remain profitable. How do
you communicate to a new person, "Look, you're going to
lose money trying to grow you business", it sucks! You can't
do it!
In any business, PROFIT is everything and what drives your
business. You gotta have a business that is sustainable
and scalable so your income keeps coming in whether you
work or not.
The answer?
There are 2 schools of thought here...
1.) - Create your own product, set up your own website, get
a merchant account and go market.
OR, the easier way...
